We commemorate International and National Nurses Week by saluting our nurses for their dedicated service to our organization.
This year, National Nurses Week will be celebrated from May 9th through May 15th.
Each year, the International Council of Nurses (ICN) has a theme for International Nurses Day celebration. This year, the theme is:
NURSES: A force for change: Improving health systems’ resilience
Nurses comprise the largest group of health care professionals within the healthcare workforce and therefore play a pivotal role in provision of health service to community at large.
According to International Council of Nurses (2016), adequately trained and motivated health workers are essential for the health of the world’s population. Equitable access to necessary health services of good quality cannot be achieved without an adequate number of appropriately prepared nurses. But, just adding more nurses is not the solution; improving the work environment is a key aspect of improving patient safety and the quality of health care.
Over the years Bernstein Diet & Health Clinics has established a reputation for success, integrity and innovation in the field of weight loss and the study of obesity. This success would not have been possible without the support of our frontline key players “Nurses and Medical Administrative Staff”.
We would like to commemorate International and National Nurses Week by saluting our nurses for their dedicated service to our organization. We would also like to acknowledge the staff for their commitment to their patients, whose lives they influence every day…
At this happy occasion we would also like to recognize all our Administrative staff and Medical Receptionist as we have just passed the Administrative Professional Day or Secretary Day in the month of April.
HAPPY NURSES WEEK! Keep up the good work that you all do!
Dr. S. K. Bernstein
