Bernstein Diet & Health Clinics
Mobile App Update
We are pleased to announce the launch of our new and improved Bernstein Mobile App.
Your current App should automatically prompt you to update. If it does not update automatically, you will need to remove and reinstall from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Access to the old version will not work as of Friday March 3rd 2017.
Also, a reminder: please reset your password on our new website patient portal if you have not done so already.
Below are some of the numerous new features that have been added.
New App Features
- You can now log in using your e-mail address.
- You can log in automatically by saving your password for up to 2 weeks at a time.
- You can set how often you want the login process to check for food and recipe updates. This is a much faster check than before and can be skipped.
- The App’s weight tracker and the website patient portal’s weight tracker are now synchronized. You can add photos with your weight data on the App. You can also tap a chart point in the App to view your photo and edit details for that point.
- The first time you open the weight tracker, your data points from the old App and the Portal will be synchronized. If there are any duplicates or conflicting data points you will have the option to resolve them.
- The food list, like on the new Portal, contains more detailed information about food list items.
- The recipe viewer has been improved with restricted ingredient reminders, smarter unit conversions, and brand suggestions for generic ingredients.
- You can set any allergies or dietary restrictions you may have in your Settings, such as vegetarianism, lactose intolerance, or allergies to specific foods. This will allow easier browsing by hiding any food list items or recipes which may not be suitable for you.
- A support form has been added in case of any difficulties experienced while using the App.
